Warp Records – Marketing Coordinator, NA (USA)

Warp is a leading independent record label releasing music from groundbreaking and influential artists including Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Danny Brown, Yves Tumor, Kelela, Mount Kimbie, Nightmares on Wax, !!!, Battles and many more on his family of Labels.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our retail, marketing and general business in North America. The successful candidate will be an avid follower of Warp and its roster, as well as the broader contemporary music and art landscape. They will be attentive, eager to learn and support Warp and its labels in a variety of areas in a marketing capacity, as a key full-time member of our passionate team.


The Marketing Coordinator will provide support to the Promotions and Marketing team to deliver exceptional campaigns for Warp and its labels while assisting with the day-to-day operations of our North America-based staff. This role will provide ongoing presentations for our releases to North American Services in support of the NA Retail Manager and will have exposure and input into all key areas of our business including promotions, retail, streaming, analytics, live events, financial operations, and office. administration.

  • Attend weekly meetings and write notes and actions.
  • Collaborate on thoughtful and practical approaches to our campaign strategies.
  • Build relationships with external partners while providing assistance with product set-up, presentations and regular communication of campaign updates.
  • Coordinate with staff on research and creation of global reports.
  • Manage the internal events calendar, coordinate guest lists and ticket purchases
  • Coordinate events and promotional activities, such as auditions, shows, label shows and more.
  • Booking trips, managing itineraries and tracking budgeted expenses for promotional trips.
  • Coordinate information, metadata and resources for the team and partners when needed.
  • Manage office inventory and support the team in necessary administrative tasks.
  • Look for new initiatives and opportunities that may be relevant to all campaigns consistently.
  • Communicative and enthusiastic to learn.
  • Confident and enthusiastic communicator with the ability to talk about music in an engaging way.
  • Detail-oriented and concerned with the accuracy and presentation of his work.
  • Highly organized and able to work quickly to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of the recorded music process (creation/distribution/marketing).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Slack is a strong asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a music industry role preferred.

Based in New York with a mix of offices, events and remote working (we remain flexible during the pandemic).

Salary depends on experience.
