Memphis Industries – Label Coordinator (UK)

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join the Memphis Industries team.

In a small business setting, the role is broad and spans digital and physical distribution, promotion and marketing. The candidate should have some experience in at least one of these areas, and will be interested and engaged with a wide range of music, familiar with independent retail and dsps, and eager to learn and expand their skills.

What you will do:

Digital broadcast

  • Delivery of leads to DSPs
  • present releases to DSP editorial teams, including writing blurb
  • Reporting on Playlist and DSP Features

physical distribution

  • Implementation of physical versions with distribution partners
  • create sales notes
  • Provide campaign updates
  • Solicitation of customer orders
  • Arrange stock shipments
  • Shipping promotional CDs

Neighboring rights

  • Registration of the repertoire with neighboring rights societies
  • Management of complaint disputes
  • Provide sales information


  • Upload version to Soundcloud/Bandcamp/Youtube
  • Creating Version Landing Pages in Linkfire/SmartURL
  • Provide promotional teams with press releases, press photos, official audio files, audio files, label copies
  • Presentation press release and international radio

Social Media / Digital Marketing

  • Creating Static Youtube Audio Videos
  • Creation of visual assets for social media, including: tour posters, music video clips, product mockups
  • Writing etiquette emails
  • Update of the label’s website
  • Post content on social media platforms
