/ You like good music and good sound: creating them, dissecting them, researching them. As a member of our creative team, you will produce iconic music and sound for our clients, which include many blue chip and Fortune 100 companies as well as enduring entertainment brands. The backgrounds of our team members range from creating beats and sound design to songwriting and orchestration, and we are bound by our passion for creating some of the best sound and music in our field. . With your abilities as a music producer, your strong creative and technical skills, and your ability to present great ideas to clients, you will help us create and deliver world-class sound identities and music to our clients in a hybrid remote/in-person environment. . This position will work from the New York office.

/ You will take charge of the production of music and sound deliverables as directed by your team’s creative lead and, with the support of your team’s coordinating producer, you will lead the day-to-day creative and logistical operations of multiple projects at once. weather. Any given day could include the development of unique creative directions for a sound identity; produce talent in the studio (or remotely) to capture iconic performances of our work; present and discuss our work with a Fortune 100 CMO or Creative Director; track budget and resource usage on your projects to keep timelines profitable; and finding new ways to approach how we solve a customer challenge, with the goal of always driving innovation and helping our customers stay connected to the culture.

About the CREATIVE department

/ Made Music Studio’s creative team drives our creative output. We work collaboratively to develop creative concepts and ideas that spark great original music and sound, then bring that vision to life from initial sketch to final mix. As one of the world’s leading global sound studios, our role is to deliver consistently excellent, boundary-pushing, and credible recording work and to remain curious about emerging technologies, platforms, media, and cultures so that this we do resonates with all audiences.

Your main responsibilities…

/ Execute daily production on multiple client projects – juggle multiple timelines, manage stakeholders, track budgets, ensure work is prepared and delivered on time.
/ Audio Production – command multiple DAWs with confidence in editing, tracking, and mixing in Pro Tools sessions, producing artists in the studio, real-time collaboration with composers and sound designers, experience of translating non-musical feedback into the musical ways that we evolve our work.
/ Creative communication and positioning – leading brainstorms and concept development; designing how we communicate our ideas to clients (whether in a presentation, video, live workshop, etc.); lead the development of demos and direct the musical direction; an entrepreneurial and visionary reflection on how our work can appear in the world; actively shaping how we tell the stories of our work to resonate with all audiences.
/ Communication – whether with other MMS team members, freelance talent or our clients… to always provide clear and timely communication that keeps projects on track. Strong written and oral communication skills. An ability/willingness to both lead and follow at the right time, as collaboration is key to our success.
/ Budgets/Cost Effectiveness – manage project budget expenditures, ensure receipt of key talent materials, and deliver creative work that meets client requirements in terms of cost, business terms, and use cases.

You have….

/ ~5 years of experience in music/audio production for clients preferred, with specific experience in creating, producing and/or managing the production of original music for media, advertising, sound branding or other such customers. Personal experience in music, composition, production, songwriting, arranging or sound design is also desired.
/ Expertise in ProTools as it is key to our collaborative workflow. Strong skills as a music editor and ease with audio packaging for clients.
/ Ability to juggle multiple projects, budgets and timelines simultaneously.
/ Passion for connecting with people, ability to clearly communicate creative feedback and notes with music creators, and ease in presenting work to internal and external clients.
/ If you’re interested in experiential audio, location-based entertainment and/or following what’s happening in global music markets, this is a big plus (but not required for this role).


/ $60,000 – $70,000 depending on experience

/ This is a full-time position based in the NYC office. Although we work primarily remotely, expect to visit our Financial District office for collaborative hours approximately once a week.
