Dolly Parton wants Cardi B and THIS music icon in a future project

From funding the Moderna vaccine, producing Spotify’s first-ever cast, and hosting the ACMs, country music queen Dolly Parton has recently been on a roll with all of her back-to-back engagements.

Last Monday, the “Jolene” hitmaker hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards for the first time since 2000.

But before gracing the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Parton shared with E! Daily Pop that she is open to working with this singer in the future.

Dolly Parton wants Cardi B for a collaboration

As random as it sounds, the Country Music Hall of Famer says she’s “open” to collaborating with rapper Cardi B in the future.

Dolly revealed her admiration for the “WAP” singer, describing Cardi with her candor.

“He’s a character. I know he’s an original,” Dolly said.

Although the collab might appear to be from Jimmy Fallon’s Random Wheel Generator, the country music icon seemed very excited to work with the rapper in the future.

But aside from Cardi B, Dolly wants to include another music legend in a future project that kind of popped up on her.

Dolly, Cardi and Cher?

In the same interview, Dolly opened up about her friendship with pop goddess Cher.

In response, she opened up about how she might return to the big screen or TV with her great friend.

Dolly appeared on Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time” variety show several times in the 70s.

The two have remained close friends over the years, publicly greeting each other on their birthdays.

While reminiscing about her friendship with the Pop icon, Dolly confessed that she wanted to embark on a project with Cher in the future.

“I would love to do something with her someday, a TV show or a movie,” she explained.

Dolly even wanted to include Cardi B in her next project with Cher: “We’ll have Cardi B on that same show, let Cher host it, and me and Cardi B will be the entertainment.”

Well, Dolly’s admiration for Cardi B dates back to a 2019 NME interview when she found common ground between herself and the rapper.

Dolly revealed that she sees bits of herself in Cardi B, noting that she also has the rapper’s sass despite criticism for their looks and shamelessly colorful public personas.
