Country music icon Trace Adkins will sing the national anthem before NASCAR’s most iconic race – the DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, February 20

NASCAR’s New “Next Gen” Car to Be Featured in The Great American Race, Season Opener of the NASCAR Cup Series and Highlight of Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida. (February 152022) – Multi-platinum award-winning country music icon and star of the upcoming FOX MONARCH series, Trace Adkins will perform the national anthem before the start of The Great American Race – on 64and DAYTONA 500 race on Sunday, February 20 (FOX, FOX Deportes, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

Adkins will perform his rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a packed house for the DAYTONA 500, which is a sell-out. The NASCAR Cup Series season opener, which will feature NASCAR’s anticipated “Next Gen” car, kicks off at 2:30 p.m. (FOX, FOX Deportes, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

Over his 25-year country music career, Adkins has sold over 11 MILLION albums, charted over 20 singles, won numerous awards, multiple GRAMMY nominations, and amassed over TWO BILLION streams. A member of the Grand Ole Opry for nearly two decades, the Louisiana native is known for his dynamic baritone and spirited and always memorable live performances, and has expanded his country career to include film and television.

It broke out in 1996 with the first album, DREAM HIGH SAILbeing part of the Top 5 of Billboard’The Hot Country Songs chart with ‘Every Light In the House Is On’ and followed by the No. 1 hit, ‘This Ain’t (No Thinkin’ Thing)’.
