AmazeVR – Senior Marketing Manager (US)


AmazeVR is an immersive technology company creating Amaze Immersive Concerts, a full-service virtual concert solution. Through Amaze Immersive Concerts, fans come face-to-face with their favorite artists in a virtual experience by embedding the artist’s performance in stereoscopic 8K+ action video in surreal environments that transcend reality. Our vertically integrated distribution model maximizes quality and reach – offline, via global movie theaters with haptic motion seats and the Amaze Immersive Tour Bus as a traveling pop-up; and online, via the Amaze app, the best VR video platform since 2017.

Founded by the co-founder and early executives of Kakao, a $44 billion market capitalization mobile platform company, AmazeVR has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Seoul. So far, we’ve secured a total fundraising of $25.3 million from seasoned technology and media investors, including the recent $9.5 million bridge investment round. dollars in early 2021. In 2020, we built our Unreal Engine-based technical foundation in collaboration with artist duo Ceraadi. and Rock Nation.

We’re excited to build Amaze Immersive Concerts with an incredibly talented and passionate team, and look forward to launching our large-scale project in the US and overseas in early 2022. We’re looking for a rockstar teammate with strong marketing . experience in the music industry – someone who is excited to build the future of music with us.

Who are you
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record in marketing for music concert tours and/or event activities in the US market
  • Experience leading the development, planning and execution of fully integrated social, digital, advertising/press and OOH marketing campaigns
  • In-depth understanding of digital UX and e-commerce funnels; experience setting up and analyzing A/B tests and landing pages
  • Highly logical and data-driven, using insights to make strategic marketing recommendations and lead to optimal marketing decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to adapt quickly and work effectively within teams, while finding the right external partners and cultivating those relationships
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial – enthusiastic about working in a VC-funded startup with a small team while wearing many hats and creating their own initiatives
  • A “yes… and!” person, not a “yes, but…” person
  • Experienced as a marketing project manager in music e-commerce – concert tours, festivals, live events, merch, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of US consumers – including demographics, behaviors, media habits, and local trends and cultures – and cutting-edge marketing techniques to engage as part of a marketing approach
  • You may or may not have a virtual reality experience — come with an open mind and we’ll teach you
  • Build and manage the company’s marketing strategy at all levels, ensuring that all marketing efforts are tied to specific brand metrics and business objectives
  • Plan, execute and optimize best-in-class ticket sales campaigns and other marketing initiatives in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, artists (management companies) and agencies
  • Own and optimize digital marketing channels (paid and non-paid) including social media, search, CRM, email and web
  • Build and manage KPI dashboards; analyze results and provide lessons and recommendations on performance; report to the Head of Business and Management
